What is a silk laminated business card?
It's a 17 pt card covered on both sides with a very thin matte film (silk lamination). It feels soft, like velvet, with rich colors and no shine. The lamination protects it: it won't get wet, doesn't tear easily and won't scuff in your wallet.

Why is it called silk laminated?
Because of its matte lamination that feels soft, like silk.
Can you write on it?
A ballpoint pen struggles because the lamination doesn't absorb ink. Use a permanent marker.
